Who We Are
Graphic Roller Industries is a wholly owned Canadian manufacturer that has evolved from its humble beginnings more than 75 years ago. Sam Venis Sr., an innovative craftsman, believed that a roller was a finely crafted tool necessary
to achieve a specific result. Whether a roller was made for printing, coating, laminating, conveying, or some other function, that roller had a specific function, and its success was only achieved when its user could do their job flawlessly.
That underlying philosophy remains the cornerstone of Graphic’s vision today. We believe that to
be successful we must make our customers successful. How we measure that success, and what we do to help our customers achieve that, is what makes Graphic different from its competition. We believe that “our value lowers your costs”.
We welcome the opportunity to prove that these words are
not hollow anecdotes, but demonstrate our commitment to be your true partner in your business operations.
Our Vision
Graphic’s approach has been to define the products it manufactures and distributes in the same manner it believes its customers look at costs. This holistic approach allows for more innovative and cost saving strategies for
our customers.
We believe that costs should be defined as the total cost to the customer from removal from the press to reinstallation, inclusive of all the components that make that possible; roller recovery, bearings & shaft installation, administration and labour. In addition, initiatives
in consumption reduction further the overall cost savings to our customers. GPR has developed superior products that enable its customers to reduce their overall roller expenditures. Our history has proven that yearly roller costs are in some cases halved by our ability to marry the rollers
you use to the environment in which they are exposed. These results, when coupled with reduced production downtime, enable our customers to see their roller expenditures falling to approximately 0.1% to 0.2% of manufacturing costs.
Graphic is built on the premise of total service for its customers.
From the manufacturing methodologies we use, to the products we make, through to the services we provide to our customers, our Company is designed to partner with our customers so that they can focus on the products they make, and not the products we make for you.
