EPS Ghosting Control System

Graphic Printing Roller introduces the latest in ghosting control technology with the EPS Ghosting Control System. This system comprises multiples of controlled rollers fitted in specific locations in the inking system. EPS rollers are independently driven by a patented technique. The press operator controls the system from a central control station where all that is required to start the system is to switch it on and conversely switch it off after use. When not in use for control of ghosting, the system reverts and re-centers to become normal ink form rollers.

The EPS Ghosting Control System can be fitted to all the printing units of a sheet or web fed press allowing unheard of flexibility of production as the ghosting image can be positioned on any unit to meet trapping requirements. Also, the production of ghosting forms on every unit, (when the background colour is made from the four process colours) is easily achieved. This will save a pas on a four colour and varnish job on your five colour press. As a result, you will not require a special background colour plate and ink on the fifth unit, and to run the job through again for in-line varnishing.

The EPS Ghosting System is a vast improvement over other ghosting rollers. There are no mechanical stops, clamps or screws outside the roller ends, and no tools required. There is complete control over the oscillating movement. Also, shock absorption is built in, reducing the potential for shock marks in the print caused by stopping the rollers at the extremities of the oscillation cycle.
